Big Day Out update.....

The BDO (big day out) is upon us...two sleeps.

When: Thursday 7 December

Where: Boyes Beach (Lake Okareka)

Who: Room 18

What to bring:

• Your booster seat
• Morning tea
• A water bottle...with water in it
• Togs/towel and a hat
• Sensible shoes
• Lots of sunscreen applied before you come to school
• A happy face
• Something to share for lunch

Children are to wear mufti clothes and be at school by the normal time of 8.45am (we will take the roll at 9am)

We will all meet in Room 18 to get organised and get a game plan before we leave.  We will go over the RAMS and safety procedures.

There are loads of helpers for transport so you might just be taking your child and one other.  We will let you know on Thursday morning.  

We aim to leave school at 9.30am to avoid any early morning traffic.  When we arrive at Boyes Beach the children will have morning tea and a play on the play ground.  They will them be organised into teams for the Scavenger Hunt.

We still need shelters for shade.  If you have one that you can bring can you please let me know.

We will have a shared lunch at 12.30pm.

We will be swimming, so parents you will need to be in the water to monitor the critters...bring your togs;)

We will leave at 2.00pm to be back at school at 2.30pm.

I will see you all on Thursday morning.
