This week is Maori language week, so we will be doing lots of fun Maori language activities each day.
Here is a really easy Pepeha we are going to learn this week, it ties in nicely with our Church strand in RE. You can have a go at helping your child learn it.
Tena koutou. (Greetings everyone)
Ko ______________ toku papa. (My dad is _____)
Ko ______________ toku mama. (My mum is _____)
Ko ______________ taku ingoa. (My name is _____)

It should be a fun week. Here are some of the other things happening in Week 8.
Wednesday: School singing 8.45am. Get to school early.
Thursday:
Go4it with Tim. 10 -10.30. Girls need PE shorts for this.
School kapa haka. 2pm.
Friday:
Junior school kapa haka. 10am.
Sausage sizzle lunch order option. $1.50 for a sausage. $1.50 for a juicy.
PI practice- 11am.
Golden time.
School assembly.
Bring on the fine weather...please:)
